Random Battlein the Valley

I had been traveling for a while when I come across a large valley, where I slowly descend down the hill. I spot a small stream at the center of this large valley, where I decide to stop and train my swordsmanship for the time being. "This should be a good place to train." I unsheathe my blade and start to practice my sword techniques.

"That last attack was a little sloppy...." i appeared behind Phoenix as if i had been there the whole time "That vertical slash of yours seems to be the only slow strike you have, swinging your blade around in circles isn't going to help you any. You need a target" i unlatched my gloves from my belt and slid them on slowly "Like me...."

The silent landscape was suddenly cut off by the appearance of Talask, apparently he had been watching me practice. He claims that the vertical slash I had just finished doing was slower and a little sloppy. I turn towards him while he continues to speak, apparently he was wanting to fight, but for practice or for real. Either way, a fight is a fight when it comes to the outside world. While I know he can negate the damage of this attack, I swing my blade vertically downward, much faster than what he had seen in my practice. "Crescent Strike!" This sends a small crescent blade of energy going straight towards him. Not knowing if damage had been dealt to him, I place my blade over my neck in a rested position with my left arm in a front stance, waiting for his attack.

Lifting my right hand towards the blast i propel my hand against his attacck, reducing what seem to be the core of the attack. Anchoring my feet into the ground to prevent myself from sliding i channeled a little energy to my hand, ".....kento shot..." the attack caused the rest of the wave to disapate, leaving only sparks to scratch my arm ..."

The wind blows erratically when Talask blocks my attack with his hand, causing a small burst to quickly appear and then evaporate. Talask didn't slide any, but I did manage to land a small amount of damage upon him. I caught a small glimpse of an small amount of energy growing in the palm of his hand. An opportunity arose when I caught onto this attack. I rush in low when he fires his kento shot at me. When the blast fires, I duck underneath the blast and send my blade vertically upwards with a quick movement of the hand at Talask. Following up, I spin around using the blade as a form of leverage, allowing another swift strike from the right towards the left horizontally in front of him. The blade is now in my left hand from this attack when I back flip a few feet behind me to gather a small amount of distance between myself and him. I spin the blade behind me, so that I may return the blade to my right, and then get into a stance where my sword is pointed towards my enemy yet it is held with both hands near my head.

My eyes had caught hold of Phoenix's swift movement and that he was on the move once again. Lowering my hand by my side, energy started spiking from my body, striking the ground on every spark. "come....." I waited for the momement of his first drawback of his first strike. Tilting my head back, the blade passes right by my face trimming the edge of my hair. Sliding my hands into my pockets i lifted my left leg to waist level "..dark embrace..." slaming my leg back onto the ground, the energy erupted from my body in a massive explosion, engulfing everything around me in a bright light. I had countered his attacks with an attack of my own.

Just moments after I fall back, I noticed that he managed to dodge my first stike and form a small burst of energy to negate the second. However, this burst continued to grow around him as if it was starting to explode instead. With quick movement, I drop my blade to be held in front of me in a stance similar to my normal. With this stance, I block some of the damage in an attempt to avoid too much damage to myself. The explosion collides with my aura filled sword, and I hold myself against this blast. However, the blast continues to grow to the point I have to abandon this attempt and get pushed back by the explosion. My crystal begins to glow and forms a small aura around me, allowing me to move faster. I roll backwards and slide in a crouched position with my blade in the dirt to slow me down. I stand back up only scratched from the rolling I had done, where I get back into my normal stance to prepare for his next attack.

Slightly leaning back, my eyes stared down phoenix as he somehow managed to evade almost all of the attack, "My energy strength is almost gone but im not too worried for i have also heard that a moonweilder is very limited in his constant evasion inless he somehow manages to master hi crystal, which you nor I are even close to grasping." Lifting my hands from my pockets i prepared for my next assault. "HAAA!!!" firing 7shots each weak in strength but capable of giving damage, i patiently watched and awaited his reaction.

"Energy blasts, again..." I hold my blade ready as the blasts come towards me. Instead of jumping back, I rush towards Talask and his multiple blasts. Two fall behind me while I keep moving, causing small explosions that follows down my path. "Are the blasts turning towards me?" I spin around and swing my blade horizontally during the spin, cutting through one blast but seeing four more coming at me. I leap into the air to avoid one more, but the remaining three change direction at coming hurling at me once again. I spin in midair which allows the blast to graze me a bit, however when I turn I hold my sword up and let the blasts collide. Once done, I fall to the ground and back into my stance. "Looks like you had another fight with Serriome."

I place my blade's tip onto the ground, and keep it in place with my right hand as I stand and look upon him. "You know full well we are both very weak right now." I let out a small chuckle and prepare my blade held with my outstretched right hand. "It's not like this is going to hurt you or anything, but hey, you wanted me to do something." I throw my blade at Talask, and then vanish. Regardless of whether it hit or not, I reappear behind Talask, to catch the blade, and land back on my feet.

His blade whistled threw the air as it dashed towards me, "............." *clinch* I had grabbed the middle of his sword, blood dripped to the ground as i held it, "I know we are weak but i know you.......and i know u could come up with something better than this" With a summersault over phoenix i threw his blade back at him, then returned fire with a couple of shot. Then when landing on the ground, i raised my right leg and smashed it into the ground creating stalagmite shape rocks to form from beneath the ground and up towards phoenix.

My weakened arms had little strength left in them, and my blade was fully rested on my shoulders behind my head. Two energy blasts had followed my descent towards the ground, I then swing with what little strength I had left in my arms, knowing full well that it wasn't enough to handle the attacks. My weakened arms could no longer hold anything back, and the first blast barely grazes my arm. The second blast completely hits me, but with it's weakened power it simply singed me a small bit. He did manage a bit more when he landed, causing a small earthquake that sent me in the air a bit. It also managed to scratch me a bit. I land once more, this time with my blade simply dragging the ground. My arms and legs simply had no strength left in them. I heard what Talask had said about me being able to do better than that, so I then respond in kind. "True, I could have, but let us be honest with ourselves, Talask. We have absolutely no strength left in us. Your little blasts can barely scratch me, and the earthquake had only sent me flying at the most. We could recover if we wanted too, but then we both know that our strength would fail us when we really needed it. So show me what you plan to do when your own aura is as dim as a dieing star in the night sky. Don't get me wrong, mine shouldn't be much either." I smile at Talask while I await his answer.
